Review

I just got done with reading a incredible book called crash. I've been contemplating for a while if I should get this book or not. That's mostly because the cover suggest it has something to do with ballet, and that's not really my game. That's why there are two picts., so don't let the cover fool you.
This book kept you intrigued from the start to finish. There was some action, but the main story centered around two people coming together after everything that they have endure. I know it sounds like a sappy romance you would catch our mom reading, but it doesn't have all the immature stuff. Another thing is the two main character are teenagers in their last year of high school.
I think many people can relate to this book. There are all kinds of hardships like: issues with parents, drama and gossip at school, trust issues, loss of a family member and so much more.
There may have been one or two down falls to it. One being it's amazing and you want to know what's happening next; however, I can be a little depressing in some parts and you need to take a break. Now i'm not saying that's it's always like that, just sometimes its like one bad thing after another and its to much at once.
With that being said I give this book four stars. That means I would highly recommend this book to someone.

Book Description

Southpointe High is the last place Lucy wanted to wind up her senior year of school. Right up until she stumbles into Jude Ryder, a guy whose name has become its own verb, and synonymous with trouble. He's got a rap sheet that runs longer than a senior thesis, has had his name sighed, shouted, and cursed by more women than Lucy dares to ask, and lives at the local boys home where disturbed seems to be the status quo for the residents. Lucy had a stable at best, quirky at worst, upbringing. She lives for wearing the satin down on her ballet shoes, has her sights set on Juilliard, and has been careful to keep trouble out of her life. Up until now.

Jude's everything she knows she needs to stay away from if she wants to separate her past from her future. Staying away, she's about to find out, is the only thing she's incapable of.

For Lucy Larson and Jude Ryder, love's about to become the thing that tears them apart.

Please comment on anything and everything and read Crash now!!!;)

sentinel

Tis is the new cover for sentinel. I think the cover speaks for itself. The cover is simple but elegant and keeps the theme of the flower with smoke, which I think is just beautiful. Tell me what you think of the cover after checking out a teaser I found, and comment.

Daemon POV:
“You have no idea…” I ran out of words at that point. Her being this close after so long was the sweetest kind of torture. Each breath she took, I felt in every part of my body, in some areas more than others. Really inappropriate, but she always had a powerful hold over me. Common sense jumped out the window.

*All the pent up, helpless rage formed a wrecking ball inside of me. Maintaining human form was near impossible. I wanted to hit something—destroy something. I needed to.* *“Daemon, no one—”*
*“Shut up,” I said, turning to where Matthew sat in the corner of the room. Right this moment I wanted to destroy him. “Just shut the hell up.”*

"At that point, my brain pretty much unloaded a bunch of crap on me. Bringing up memories I'd almast forgotten-Of Kat arguing with me over the flower bed and refusing to go to the lake with me the day Dee had hid my keys. Like I had needed my Keys to go somewhere.

Even then I'd been looking for a reason to spend time with her. There were so many moments. Like when she went ninja on the Arum after homecoming. She had risked her life for me. even when I'd been nothing but a giant tool to her. And Halloween night? She would've died for Dee and me.

I would've died for her."

"She slid her hand up my arm, her head tilting to the side as her gaze wandered over me. My light reflected off her cheeks, giving her a rosy glow. She was beautiful, and I was so, so desperately in live with her.

Her chin jerked up, and she sucked in a breath, eyes widening. Okay, I may have actually thought that last bit at her.

***

You did. A small smile split her lips. I liked hearing it. A lot. “
"My hand shook as I pressed it against my mouth. Everything I'd said to him came back in a rush. And in that tiny second when I'd caved to the fury -- nothing in a span of millions -- I had changed, become something I wasn't sure I could ever come back from."

We can’t lose you,” she said after a few moments of awkward as hell silence. “You have to understand that we aren’t doing this because we don’t care about Kat. We’re doing this because we love you.”
“But I love her,” I said without hesitation.
Dee’s eyes widened, probably since it was the first time she’d heard me say it out loud, well, about anyone other than my family. I wished I had said it more often, especially to Kat. Funny how that kind of shit always turns out in the end. While you’re deep in something, you never say or do what you need to. It’s always after the fact, when it’s too late that you realize what you’ve should’ve said or done.
It couldn’t be too late. I knew that. The fact that I was still alive was testament to that. Like Dee said, though, there were worse things than death.

Teaser#1: A certain bone-deep understanding occurred and my hand tightened around the smaller one I held. It weren't stars we were staring at. The sky was falling.

Teaser#2: "Oh crap. ET so just phoned home

This a parallel teaser that is in Origin and Obsession. This tease is in daemon's POV.

I took a step forward, rage swirling inside of me.
"You broke into mount weather?" Hunter choked out laughing. "Are you insane?"
"Shut up."  I said, keeping my eyes on Luc. Hunter made a deep noise.
"Our little mutual white flag of friendship will come to a halt if you tell me to shut up again"
I spared him a brief glance. "Shut. up."
Dark shadows drifted over the arum shoulder and I fully faced him. "What?" I said, throwing my hands up in  a  universe come get some. "I have a lot of pent-up violence I'd love to take it out on someone."
"Guy's," Luc sighed, sliding off the bar. "Seriously? Can't you two just bro-mance it out?"

For those that cant read what is in the pictures:
I pulled back, dragging in air that tasted like daemon. "We really should be talking."

"I know," That half grin appeared. "That's what I've been trying to tell you."

My mouth dropped open. "What? You haven's been talking! You've been--"

"Kissing you senseless?" he asked innocently. "Sorry. It's all I want to do while you're here. Well, not all I want to do, but pretty close to everything else is....

"I get it." I groaned.

Oh, Kat if only I were you. I would not leave you're man alone. I may just steal him and hide away forever.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!! gosh it's killing me. Follow me to get all the latest teasers.
