Opal (A Lux Novel)Opal

The Lux series continues with the third installment of this riveting paranormal YA series. No one is like Daemon Black. When he set out to prove his feelings for Katy, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something she’ll do again and now that they’ve made it through the rough patches, well, there’s a lot of spontaneus combustion going on. But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they loved. With help coming from the most unlikely source and Adam’s death still lingering with those who loved him, friends will become the deadliest of enemies and the villains will no longer be clear. When each step they take in discovering the truth puts them in the path of the secret organization responsible torturing and testing hybrids, the more Katy realizes there is no end to what she’s capable of. They won't turn back, even if the outcome will shatter their worlds forever.

Okay first off; this book can contain some mature subjects, but they're not to bad. I like to keep these reviews  kinda short I usually don't read the long ones and I figured you probably don't either. Now onto the actual reviewing part.
Opal kept me enthralled from page to glimmering page. It was sexy. It was nail biting, and most importantly it was addictive to the vary end. Katy and Daemon are combustible in this book.  Now that they have confessed their love for each other it's all hot and heavy from there, or so you would think. It seems as if everything just keeps getting in the way. With Dawson on the tight rope and Adams death driving a wedge into Katy and Dee's friendship is there anyway for Daemon and Katy to have peace and quite longer than five seconds. The book keeps on going to the vary end. There are no soft spot for you to  take a breather.
In this book  the enemies aren't clear. Witch in my opinion is the best part. Just when you think the line is starting to be redrawn by good and evil, so to speak, someone just has to break it. This heightens the suspense to an all time high.
In this book friendships are broken and rekindled. New friends are made while others are lost forever. People you expected to stay away come back, and made their presence known in style. While other floated away into oblivion. Dee is a little muted in this book, but she still in everyone's mind.

I give this book five star for its...
  amazing plot
  incredible suspense
irony over every little detail (witch I don't think I mentioned.)
the sexy thriller in between the pages
  action packed book all together
